    Fritz Schrödter (b. 15 March 1855, Leipzig, Germany; d. 16 January 1924, Vienna), tenor.
Fritz Schrödter joined the Vienna Court Opera in 1886, and remained a member of the ensemble until 1915.
Under Gustav Mahler, Schrödter sang in performances including the premiere of Tales of Hoffmann where he played Hoffmann (alongside Gutheil-Schoder in all three leading female roles) on 11 November 1901.
Schrödter also sang in the world premiere of Gustav Mahler's Das Klagende Lied (Song of Lamentation) conducted by the composer himself, on 17 February 1901, and "Revelge" from Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy’s Wonder Horn) on 29 January 1905, again with the composer conducting.
