Leopold Demuth (real name: Leopold Pokorny. b. 2 November 1861, Brno, Czech Republic; d. 4 March 1910, Chernivtsi, Ukraine), bass-baritone.
Leopold Pokorny was a member of the Vienna Court Opera from 1898 to 1910, and was known primarily as a performer of Wagner and Mozart. On 23 January 1905, he sang the part of Wotan in the restaging of Wagner’s Das Rheingold, conducted by Mahler.
