Georg Maikl (b. 4 April 1872, Zell an der Ziller, Austria; d. 22 August 1951, Vienna), tenor.
Georg Maikl joined the ensemble at the Vienna Court Opera in 1904, and remained an active member for over 40 years. He specialised in performing Mozart and Wagner. Georg Maikl sang a variety of different roles under Mahler’s direction, including Don Ottavio in later performances of a new production of Mozart's Don Giovanni in 1905/06. The cast of the production also included Friedrich Weidemann as Don Giovanni, Gutheil-Schoder as Donna Elvira, Lucie Weidt as Donna Anna and Wilhelm Hesch as Leporello.
