Resistant Culture. Resistant Politics?

But in a world where the image of rebellion sells everything from soda to automobiles, radical culture is used by advertisers and marketers as a means to stimulate new sales. Radical culture can also become a sort of political catharsis that helps alienated individuals to safely play out their rebellious fantasies. But zines, like all alternative culture, offer a model of political activity.
